Day 1

The north sea beckoned.

Apart from traffic jams getting under the river Thames and therefore having to pay £12.50 for the privilege of going via another traffic jam, today's journey up to North Norfolk was lovely. The picnic lunch next to the Great Ouse River at Ely felt just like summer with the sun beating down :-)

I'm now settled into my hotel base for a few days and have already dipped my toes into a rather chilly North sea
