Walk by the Ohio River

A grey morning gave way to a sunny and warm afternoon. We drove downtown to go to the Music Live at Lunch series at Christ Church cathedral, this week featuring a string quartet. They have started serving lunch again, that you can take in on a tray. Afterwards, we went walking along the Ohio River from International Friendship Park down to the football stadium. When I first caught sight of the barge in the upper left photo, I thought it was stationary. However, it was moving, but extremely slowly, fighting against quite a strong current. Again, there were numerous signs of Spring, daffodils, hellebores and crocuses and dwarf iris. Then we came home and got on with a few jobs before dinner.
