Beneath the trees
A late-afternoon walk with MrM, up to the Common and over to High Humbleton. Beneath the trees on the Common there was indeed a host of golden daffodils, fluttering and dancing in the breeze...
We spotted a red squirrel on one of the feeders, unfortunately too distant for photos.
Lots of birds singing their hearts out - blackbirds, robins, tits of all kinds, thrushes, skylarks and curlews on the moors, and even a yellowhammer with his 'little bit of bread and no cheese'.
