Travels

A day of packing and wrestling with the bureaucracy of travel, which is far more taxing than it was when we last left the UK in early 2020.  Not all of this has anything to do with Covid 19.  The form-filling required to check-in online was about three times more extensive than it used to be. I have never understood why "checking-in" is necessary. It does not mean we will necessarily turn-up for our flight (although, of course, we will.) Nor does it have anything to do with luggage (although there were inevitable daft questions about that.)
