... a good time to head for Harlow Carr Gardens this morning; the cool dull weather appeared to have put a lot of people off the idea of a visit.

The result was a quiet peaceful experience. I sat on a bench by one of the ponds and the little birds came to visit me. The light from the overcast sky also provided ideally even lighting for my photos of this dunnock. and the great tit in my extra
