Having seen Mr and Mrs Mallard on their "rented for the season" barge this pair of Mandarin Ducks wanted  something similar .I was present when the "vessel" which looks home made came along the river .This pair were captivated - I tried to tell them  that bigger doesn't always mean better .Possibly they liked the colours __
