A wet drive home

Today we met friends from Sutton Coldfield at Telford which is about half way between us. We meet there for a meal every few months and it was good to catch up with each other’s news. Luckily they weren’t busy because time flew by and it was three hours later that we left.

It had rained for hours which stopped our planned walk so we came straight home. The rain kept falling and this photo shows the awful conditions on the road. Needless to say, I wasn’t driving!
