The local M&S gave us a cake for a birthday celebrated today. It should have a white choc dome, that looks like a football, on top but it broke in transit so it was donated to us.

The birthday boy (81) was pleased with it.

A 53 (yes FIFTY THREE) year old woman had a try out with us today. Her dementia is too advanced for us. Very sad. She was delightful but would require full time one to one.

In other news, Clive has covid and he's quite unwell. He has been for a few days and the LFTs  have been negative but this morning was positive.  I'm fine of course! He has been sleeping in another room because I was convinced he had it. And I was right!
