Did they know something?

This was the scene when we arrived - a virtually empty campsite, only one other van at the other end of the field from us. Had the penultimate event in the cross country series this afternoon, through the woods to the south of Cawston Hall near Aylsham. Slightly damp but a really nice course, new to me, though some people had run there a few years ago when the Hall was an independent school. However, the heavens opened just after we finished & we've had really heavy rain ever since. Judging from the state of the van windows there was dust mixed in it, presumably from the Sahara.

As there's orienteering on the Sandringham Estate on Sunday we decided to bring the van up & stay again in the campsite at Weybourne. The forecast is good for tomorrow, so fingers crossed.
