Shortlist

Again today was quite busy and my my only proper outing was Django's wet morning walk. I had to drive L. to the station when she realised that her train was earlier than she thought - she just made it! 
I was choosing stock most of the day, which is one of my most enjoyable tasks. And today is the announcement of the Carnegie and Kate Greenaway shortlists, which is always an important day for me. I was glad that my personal nomination made the shortlist and three other titles were in my top 5 children's/YA books of the year.
