Chaffinch in the sun

I took this shot during my short lunchtime walk between computer work.

I had phone call from a close friends daughter to tell me my friend had died at the weekend, she has been in my life nearly as long as I can remember. A big shock for me. I wish I had seen her more recently than I had. Feeling sad. Look after your friends
