Tormiston Mill, Stenness

I had to get round this morning's water meter reads and be home for a zoom meeting at 1.
I did it, with a minute to spare, which was very satisfying. 84 miles and 16 meters.

This restored watermill used to be open to the public but not any more. The waterwheel caught my eye for a quick photo but now at home I have read about the lade, 'carried on a beautifully built stone aqueduct'.

Not sure how I missed that and I will certainly stop next time I'm passing and see if I can get a photo of that.
