Emergency Provisions!

As forecasted, we had rain almost all day today. I enjoyed feeling cosy in my conservatory, listening to it pound on the glass roof.

A friend of mine heard that I had covid and dropped by this afternoon to drop off these emergency provisions. Isn’t that kind? Guess which one I opened first?

We talked on the phone for a short time after she dropped them off, and it was interesting to discover how difficult talking is without going into a coughing fit. I’m on my own so I’ve not been talking much! Otherwise I feel relatively good. After 3 days of feeling quite poorly, I have lots of energy now and only mild cold symptoms. Feeling very thankful!
