Bright spot

Amid the ongoing horrors of the Russian war in Ukraine the news of the release of the hostages from Iran was a welcome if brief respite.

It was a dull cool and on occasion very wet day. Much of it spent at the laptop preparing papers for a church meeting next week.

So it was good when the rain eased and I got out to walk the dog to see this blossom in full bloom.
