Almost there

The end (and indeed ends!) are in sight.  This is my first overlay mosaic project so I had fun knotting off all this pesky ends and chopping them short.

I am now attempting the envelope border to hide all the leftover ends inside. Instead of a slip stitch round and the trauma of trying to stitch into each side of that, I saw a video that starts of with a FPDC (US) instead. And so far so good!  It seems to be coming out neatly enough and I can see what I need to do on the other side, so hopefully I will be able to get it finished by the end of the weekend.

I am guessing that a double border is a real yarn eater so may need to top up to get it all finished.
