Calming camellia

Another local walk. This time because M had ordered 2 items on the internet and they were both too large.  So they were repackaged and our walk went via the Hermes ( now called Evri)  drop off shop and via the post office.  Luckily the walk went down Bridgegate so lots of grass and daffodills for Fletch to enjoy.
One of the items , a sweatshirt was supposed to be the same size as the one he bought a few months earlier. Hed been pleased with the quality so ordered another in a different colour.. but this was 6 inches larger.
We do miss the days when you could actually go into a shop and see before you buy and check sizing and quality.
So few shops left in town.  I've certainly bought less since M&S closed.. the route to the food dept through clothing was very tempting. Not that I really need anything anyway.

The  TV news is hard to watch, we do live in uncertain times. I needed to keep active. .
Our photo group's  theme for this week is 50 paces from home, so decided to get out with the camera.  A rather grey day but  wandered around the garden and snapped away , trying to find something interesting.  ( see collage) I watched , with some trepidation, the man on the roof who didnt seem to be doing an awful lot.  I wondered what he charged the  neighbour. Another neighbour is flying the Union Flag which is  not usual around here.

Camellia bush number 4 is flowering ( I like how they dont all flower at the same time ) and was quite pleased with the resulting photo.
