The long and winding road

Well, path... Nipped outside for 10 minutes at lunchtime, nice and warm in the sun in just a t-shirt (at last, and no bitingly cold wind!). Took a few shots of flowers in the sunshine, then spotted this. Just liked the shaped of the path.

Put through iPhoto's auto enhance which has just brightened the colours a little to more closely match how I was seeing it rather than the slightly duller colours the camera captured. Which begs the question as to which is the most truthful approach. In this case attempting to reproduce my experience/memory definitely makes a better picture, though the difference from the original is quite subtle.
