Such a beauty

I went to the Animal Welfare today to find out how the Spaniel was that we picked up at the roadside on Monday, to be told that he had been euthenised yesterday. So sad, but the vet reckons he was about 14 years old, blind, with bad eye infections and a skin condition. They also think that he was probably dumped...I fail to understand people doing this. Anyway at least he had four days of shelter, food and water. I will admit to hubby and I shedding a few tears in the car....
This is one of the four horses in the paddock there, along with some donkeys.  I felt bad when they approached me at the fence obviously looking for treats which I didn't have. I'll have to go there again.
