Croissants
Our daughter Miss A (nearly 29) is occasionally inspired to bake. She suggested croissants and as usual has to do everything The Right Way. So these were started yesterday afternoon and enjoyed lunchtime today. Three different varieties for choice: plain, ham and cheese and pain au chocolat. All delicious. However, they were not as light and melt-in-the-mouth as those bought from a French boulangerie. Miss A, always up for a challenge, intends to address that issue next time.
