Happy St Patricks day...

with a background of green for my butterfly!

It has rained all day and everything is extremely lush and green (just like Ireland!!).  The Irish Embassy always has a St Paddy's day party for the Irish people here in Lusaka but because we are in a period of mourning for the 4th President of Zambia, President Rupiah Banda and had a state funeral today, the occasion was cancelled! 

However, we are all invited to a St Patricks day lunch on Sunday at the Irish Ambassadors residence!  Hope the rain stops before then as it will probably be outside!!
