Trinity Root

Sculpture of the root of the sycamore tree uprooted by the collapse of the WTC on 9/11, which sheltered and protected St. Paul's Chapel from damage. Many of the rescue workers then used the chapel as central meeting place for rest and refreshment during the rescue operations. The sculpture now stands in front of Trinity Church, Wall Street.
