Breitenbush Hot Springs, Day 4

Backblip.

Betsy was our workshop leader for the meditation retreat. She is an amazing Portland-based facilitator, activist, organizer and teacher, a gentle soul who walks her talk. She has studied with Ram Dass for decades. (On a side note, the cabin I stayed in was fully accessible and was remodeled specifically for Ram Dass after his stroke! so it was full of good energy left behind by the Man!)

Betsy led chanting sessions playing her beautiful harmonium, pictured here. Our altar, or puja, in the background evolved during the several days as we each contributed items, sacred and profane, to it.
