Gnarly Wisteria
I took Lora to Cedar Lakes today. It is a Botanical garden inside a limestone quarry with stone stairs and pathways. The gardens were hit hard by frost this winter and weirdly enough the Christmas decorations are still up. Extra is a shot of the gardens from the upper rim of the quarry.
This wisteria plant is potted. Although the smell pulled me in, it was the gnarled roots that made me choose it as today's blip.
I just read about wisteria taking over a garden and how much damage the roots can do. I think I understand why this one lives in a pot now.
