Back in Business

Hope
First visit to our local leisure centre and proper "adult" swim for approaching 3 years. 10 lengths in a 25m (I think) laned  pool. 4 crawl, 4 breast, 2 back in 10 mins non-stop. Very pleased with my general fitness, but struggled with the 2nd length backstroke - as expected, with damaged left shoulder, but will help it along no end. 

I know I'll have to build up very slowly, but that's fine.


The whole experience felt like a big step back to normality, and felt beautifully relaxed and uplifted afterwards.

Was extra careful of course that no-one was about whilst taking photos in a pool.

Family
The King has been unable to keep food down and had a high temperature for the last two days; enough that on advice he was taken to A&E. He perked up when I video called today, so seems to be getting better. In some ways I think it's helpful in being a distraction for him and mum, and also stopped her from going to work for the last two days. We're on standby to support as wanted, as you'd expect.

Listened to some chill out white noise style vibes from the self labelled experimental composer, sound sculptor and video artist in the evening.
