Long day flying to Tokyo today with a stopover in Amsterdam. London to Amsterdam was fine but the second flight (Amsterdam - Tokyo) really wasn't! The brakes on the plane weren't working so after having boarded, we had to sit still on the plane for 3 hours waiting for them to fix them! Not only did I have a middle seat (worse seat ever!) but I was also starving and the idea that I couldn't get off the plane and get something to eat really was torture. Still, I was going to Japan so these were all minor issues I guess! And....I rather the brakes worked than not...

This is City airport - it's tiny!!
