Camellia

Dad bought this camellia for mum for her birthday not long after they had come up to Scotland. It didn't do very much for several years, eclipsed by others we planted. Now, though, it is the best of the lot with more than 50 buds this year and many more to come in future years. 
Day four of Cheltenham and I just had a single bet, recouping almost all of the week's losses with the winner of the gold cup, A Plus Tard. Result.
