Spring sunshine and shadows...

Newton St Loe, nr Bath - part of the Duchy of Cornwall 

Met up with my friend B late this morning for a cuppa in the sunshine at our favourite farm shop cafe in Newton St Loe, before going for a stroll around the village and the grounds of Newton Park, where the trees were creating magical shadows (see extra no1). The village church was flying the Ukrainian flag, and that’s where I met a new little furry friend who followed us for the last part of our walk (see extra no2).

After a cold foggy start to the day, this afternoon the temperature reached 14 degrees, but the grass was still damp; today’s excuse not to cut the lawns!
