Cherry Blossom on Ashby Road

As we were driving into Loughborough on Wednesday we passed some wonderful pink cherry blossom on Ashby Road. This is not Japan, but we still have blossom. It deserved recording.

Early this morning saw a soft Spring mist that sadly had cleared by the time it came to drive down the road. The trees appear to be in full flower, some twigs sweeping the ground.

Later, we drove to the food market then to Colin's after coffee in the sunshine at Finkins.

Colin wants me to do another book of his garden this year. I hope I can find the inspiration and creativity. The tripod will have to come into play.

A DIG Zoom meeting this evening apparently failed to materialise.
