Vantage point
Most of today was spent travelling home (see extra), although we popped into the meeting briefly this morning before getting a taxi to the airport. Just in time to vote to confirm that the Russian institutional member of the organisation is suspended until further notice. And to welcome three new members.
We all came away with lots of new ideas and possibilities for connections and collaborations, this being important for a big project that we have been working on for quite some time.
Anyway, luckily my blip presented itself as I opened the curtains/shutters in the hotel room first thing this morning.
I got home to a forest of emails (many needing to be written in order to correct various misconceptions that appeared to have arisen) and the need to have a catch up on Teams with my colleague. Feeling very tired now, but hoping that with an early night we can get up bright and early and head up to the Pentlands for a walk. Currently very behind on my Peloton programme, but at the end of the day, there do sometimes have to be slips.
