Li'l Lost Lamb

It was very beautiful this morning at Wessenden Head, with a few fluffy clouds and the last of the melting snow.

The sheep were very protective of their lambs so I didn't get too close - they've had a rough enough few weeks without being bothered by photographers! This little lamb was obviously lost, she was bleating and trying to suckle from all the ewes - they were butting her away and running off with their own lambs. Fortunately, there was a hiker there who said he knows the farmer, and he was heading off to let him know. Let's hope the poor little thing is reunited with its mum.
