The Operators

The operators of the cable car in Funchal. Liked the way the silhouettes stood out against the light background.

This must have been the coldest day of the entire cruise. Temperature was supposed to be between 14 and 18 degrees. Hah! It felt more like 4 to 8 degrees. Sitting on the top of an open top tourist bus, climbing up the steep hills in Funchal wearing a short sleeved shirt in a gale is not something you want to do on your birthday. Had to splash out on a hoodie when we got back into town to get some heat into my cold, old bones.

Cable car ride was interesting. At the top I had a hamburger topped with mini chips. Really strange.
