Bean bags

I’m loving a Chinese supermarket down the hill and wonder why I haven’t raided it much before. There are various snacks up for grabs with broad beans and dried cherry tomatoes in bags being the more familiar of the range (chicken feet is another option on the row below). In a life first I even bought tofu, finding that working less in the evenings is making me more interested in cooking and eating better. It was hot and humid so I was sweating profusely when I lugged obscure snacks, tofu and vats of water back up the hill.

In baby news I received a good update about an arrival from a friend in the UK, and making fish faces on a video call remains the most successful form of communication with my niece.
