Dry as a bone
The glorious sun and dry weather continues... the moss is as dry as a bone. There have been several big moor fires recently and even the usual damp hollows on the common grazing are powdery dry. Ah, well, another opportunity to sit in the garden.
:-)
I was struck by the similarity of these mosses to the colours and texture of Harris Tweed.
