Blackthorn Blossom

It was a beautiful sunny spring day, so we went out for a walk through woods and fields towards Toulston and back again..covering another 5 miles! Although I am not ‘officially’ in the 1000 mile virtual walk challenge (been there, done that, got the medal, too mean to pay for another year) I am still recording my ‘boots on walking’ and  have logged just over 200 miles this year, which is a smidgen ahead of the target to complete 1000 by the end of the year!

We saw lots of wild flowers, so there are a couple of future blip possibilities. However this blackthorn bush with a splendid coat of white blossom gets my vote today!
