Lovely time of year

So many things flowering / about to flower. I love this time of year for all the growth.
Had a bit of a walk this morning, down to Taylor Park. Saw a woodpecker and got a photo (although the zoom one didn't turn out so the photo is from a distance). Also, managed to capture it on video, again though, from a distance, but you can hear it. Watching it was weird - it's like a drill!
From the park I walked to Morrisons and the posted photo I passed on the way.
Got a few bits in the store then rang Terry for a lift home!
Done little else as although it's sunny there is a bitter-cold, very strong wind blowing so my ideas of fence painting or gardening were cancelled. 
The hedgehog food was all eaten last night and a lot of water had gone as well. It left its calling card.
