Autumn.

The weather suddenly shifted into a cooler gear with a persistent drizzle. When I say cooler, it was still in the high 20s, but much less of that brow-drenching pre-rain humidity vibe. Autumn is approaching in this hemisphere, although it’s not very discernible and a rarely remarked on phase in Mozambique. I expect more bursts of heat between now and May time, when we can safely call it ‘winter’ (lovely sunny days in the 20s with nighttime lows of around 15 degrees).
