Peacock butterfly

Another lovely sunny day but with quite a strong wind.  After some work on the allotment and an early lunch we met up with friends fora walk around Aylesbeare Common.  Such good weather for walking if you ignore the wind.  We spotted a couple of Peacock butterflies that have over wintered, my first butterfly photo this year.  We headed to the part of the common where the Dartford Warblers tend to frequent, I am sure I heard one but it kept well hidden which wasn't surprising given the high wind.  Just to show how sunny it was I have included an extra of some holly berries against the sky.  A good afternoon walk.
