Neidpath Castle

The sun was due to shine today and we believed it, so we went down to Peebles for a River Tweed walk which we have not done for a few years. It really was a lovely day and walking alonside a river for almost 3 hours kept Arlo very occupied. 

He saw his first boat, 2 dinghies paddling down the river (looks fun) and given people sitting on water makes no sense to him, he gave his usual woof woof welcome. Things that make no sense disturb Arlo, boats, bikes, cars.

Here is us opposite Neidpath Castle which is flying a Ukrainian flag. There's been a castle here since 1190, the present one was rebuilt in the late 1300s. Although part of it has collapsed, it is used as a hotel. and for weddings/events.
