My first view of a butterfly this year

With the early morning sun backlighting the goat willow I couldn't resist yet another blip of this tree close behind the house. The flowers won't last and when the leaves come they will hugely diminish the light coming in my study window. 

So here is my first view of a butterfly this year with the bonus presence of a bee (which I now know is a Small Tortoiseshell, thanks to HClaireB, who also blipped a butterfly today) also seeking food from the pollen. It was one of many bees of all sizes buzzing around here this morning.
