............ it finally settled for 2 seconds so this was the best I could snap ;-)

Struggling to keep up at the moment as we have some problems with mum. Regulars will know that she has dementia and is currently managing to live at home with increasing amounts of help but unfortunately on Tuesday night she had bit of a fall, thankfully nothing was broken but she has a black eye, fat lip and a very bruised face. She can’t remember what happened and insists she fell out of bed but we suspect it’s more than that. She went to A and E with my daughter ( as my brother who usually deals with it is away on business) - they checked her over and didn’t find anything major so she came home and my daughter stayed with her until a carer came.
Since then she has phoned us all constantly but forgets what she has called for, so I’ve been rather busy :-/
My daughter installed today ( Saturday) some corner protectors on anything sharp and put motion sensing night lights in most rooms plus did a bit of much needed cleaning ( mum refuses to have a cleaner!!) - but when it was time for her to leave mum wouldn’t let her go and kept saying she didn’t feel at all well, then as soon as my daughter stayed a bit longer she was fine........... in the end one of us kept mum talking on the phone while my daughter left quietly.
The carer eventually managed to get her to go to bed and she zonked out.
she seems a bit better today ( Sunday ) so I’m hoping it’s just a short term thing........ time will tell.
