This low-flying jackdaw seems to be carrying a bit too much nest building material.

Awful news about the fire on the marshes at Parkgate that has destroyed a large area of the reedbed used by owls, bittern and bearded tits amongst others. Its part of the RSPB Dee Estuary nature reserve which includes Burton where I volunteer.
