Sport on Sunday

Attended 8am swim which was pleasantly calm in lanes 1&2.  The sun warmed my back as walked west on Potternewton Lane though I was met with a cool easterly breeze on my way home.

Despite a bright, sunny afternoon, a cool breeze blew steadily across the football pitches and I was pleased I was wearing my Rab jacket. The ground had dried out after days of sun and wind, the ball moved wildly around the pitch with Hepworth looking to have the better chances at goal. I noted a female referee, a first; the lines are run by someone/anyone from each Club. On my way home I noticed two Red Kites circling and dipping on the top pitches.
