Leighton Moss

A dull day, but we still found plenty to do. We went first to Arnside and walked along the coast there - our first visit and we only decided to go when it was featured in a tv programme last night. Then to Leighton Moss. The high point was hearing bitterns booming - something I have wanted to hear for years. As it was low tide late afternoon we drove across the causeway for a walk at Sunderland point.
