Cake!

Oops! It's already the 21st, so I'd better be quick!

Today was a much-needed "quiet" day. A lot of the morning was spent observing a team of gardeners pruning the trees in the garden. By the time they finished, they had cut them back to within an inch of their lives! We're feeling sorry for the birds who now have to find new homes.

Our friends Susan and Gladson visited in the afternoon. They came to wish me for my birthday (tomorrow) and brought me a strawberry cheesecake! We should have eaten some while they were with us, but they had only just had their lunch, so we had a piece each after dinner. It was dee-li-cious! :)))

In between, we had a quick trip to Wafi to do a shop in Carrefour. And we are ready for what looks like a very busy week! Hope you've had a good weekend!
