That was an expensive morning, a really very expensive morning.

Opticians today, which I'd been putting off over lockdown but couldn't any more as the phone and books and instructions on packets and small print of any sort results in the long arm stretch. Nothing more ageing than holding your phone at arm's length to squint at the screen....

Well, of course you guessed it, varifocals here I come.

These are the new frames, a bold departure from my norm. Although not the manufacturer, have been wearing Oakley for probably 20 years now. They work really well for outdoors stuff esp. cycling and cycle helmets, so have been brand loyal for that reason.
