Just made it!

As we made it up to High Eldwick this evening for a late Sunday dinner the orange sun could be seen slowly descending in the sky.

We only just made it in time for me to capture it before it disappeared behind the hill, just the right shot fir the equinox. Just before we arrived we saw four deer in the field next to the road, they were running and we were rather worried they might run in to the road. Luckily they changed their minds and I watched them run in the other direction but too far away for my phone to capture.

Our son comes most Sunday evenings to have a meal with us but tonight he took us out for a pre anniversary/pre Mother’s Day meal.  Our anniversary is midweek ( more of that later) and going out this week instead of next avoids the Mother’s Day scrum.
