I think he must be feeding some bairns - I have been digging (well, moving ) about 5 tons of soil / clay / stones, and pulling out a lot of worms to give to him.
He is becoming quite tame, and waits patiently while I dig.

If you have a clear sky tonight - GET OUT THERE!
There should be a great AURORA display as soon as it gets dark.
