Out onto the slopes

The Dolomites really are spectacular. Once you are out of the forest you can see these huge crags around you. We had good weather today and switched between three areas and as you ski and use the lifts the views change all the time.
Some easy skiing, some interesting skiing, some very icy places, and at the end of the day some very heavvy slushy snow, but all-in-all a very good first day.
