Intense

There's a pair of Canada geese staking out my back door.  They're there every day and most of the day.  I'm guessing Mom goose is working on some babies as Dad lets her graze but never eats himself.  He just stands guard.  This is Dad making sure nothing is threatening the little woman.  (I resist feeding them because that got me into trouble a couple years ago when the entire flock of about 30 made itself comfortable at my door when they found out it was a source of food.)  
They'll disappear for a couple days and then show up with babies trailing along.  I love that, but worry about them until they get old enough to fend for themselves.
