Fishy Business

Chucking it down in Devon today so we headed off to Plymouth Aquarium with the boys for a last bit of holiday fun. It was a day full of bonuses including a 12 month free pass to get back into the Aquarium, a lovely lunch on the Barbican, a quick trip to Prince William Yard to check out Hugh Fearnley Whittingstalls new gaff, and the news that we can get a babysitter tonight! Yay!

The Aquarium was fantastic and it was a much more worthwhile visit than the times we went with toddlers. We had a proper mooch and found all sorts of fabulous creatures including a very friendly ray, some glow in the dark jellies and a shark or two. The turtle was having the day off and sleeping in the rocks - can't blame it really. We also met Jeff - a female octopus that looked a bit cross. Mind you, I think I would be if I was a girl called Jeff.
